Jazzy Joan Presents a Tribute to Vince Guaraldi – Latin Jazz & More

Jazzy Joan is back from a long hiatus with a tribute to Vince Guaraldi. We all know him as the pianist and composer behind our beloved Peanuts TV specials, but what about his other music – his early years with Cal Tjader, his “Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus,” or his gentle bossa nova recordings with Brazilian guitarist Bola Sete? When you hear it you know it – elegant or bold, it’s simply Guaraldi.

Looking for a low-key way to meet up with friends? Expect a night of jazz commentary about Vince Guaraldi along with selected recordings that span his career. Setting the mood, Joan introduces the show at 7:00. No cover.
